Auras Massage

An aura is defined as “the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person” (Oxford English Dictionary). I took this idea and fused it with the idea of the lotus flower (a flower associated with massage therapy) to create a logomark that conveyed the thought of healing, tranquility and relaxation. The lighter shapes of the logomark represent a person while the darker shapes represent the aura being emitted by the person. Ultimately, my goal was to create a logo that was distinctive, had good scalability, was easy to use in both print and digital mediums and was appropriate for a massage practitioner.
